Since we started dating in 2010, Colorado has always had a special place in our hearts, Alex was born in Glenwood Springs and I always loved Colorado (being from Kansas, how could you not?! IYKYK). At our 2021 Fantasy Football Draft, Alex chose me as his "last pick". With our family and friends surrounding us, I said a complete YES!

Since we are simple homebodies, we treated our Elopement like a complete vacation and didn't do much at all!! We sat in a hot tub overlooking the mountains, drank alot of wine, and cooked amazing food!

Beside a snowy lake surrounded by mountains, we said our I Do's with our pup as our witness. We shared a bottle of Champagne and cheers'd to our future life together beside that lake until the sun dipped behind the mountains. While driving back to our Airbnb, we listened to our wedding song and watched the sun continue to set.

With my flowers and jewelry from Walmart, both of our rings being from family, homecooked food all weekend, and a hot tub at our cozy Airbnb our day was exactly what we imagined - COMPLETLY US!!!
